No. Girona is an inland city. Costa Brava beaches and sea activities require a separate journey; many bookable kayak and boat trips start at Sant Feliu de Guíxols, L’Estartit, Roses or another coastal town.
Yes, but “Costa Brava” is a long coast rather than one stop. Compare the departure point carefully: some products leave Girona, while many coastal activities expect you to reach the resort yourself.
Figueres is a separate town north of Girona. The Dalí Theatre-Museum is there; Girona-based full-day products often combine it with Cadaqués or Cap de Creus.
It can be, but Girona also works as a base. This catalogue excludes tours that begin in Barcelona, so the remaining day trips are relevant to travellers staying in Girona or reaching the stated local meeting point.
Not for Girona’s historic centre. A car gives flexibility for coves and villages, but trains and organised excursions cover Figueres and several major routes; coastal parking can be difficult in summer.
